ReactiveConf 2019: Europe’s one-of-a-kind tech festival

The countdown is on for ReactiveConf 2019. Are you pumped?

You should be. We are putting the finishing touches on what is sure to be the biggest three-day show of the year. The program includes a host of amazing speakers from top tech companies. Workshops. Four stages. Chat zones. Family zones. Movies. After parties!

ReactiveConf is more than just about React.js. Over the last five years, we have worked hard to make ReactiveConf the most unique, all-inclusive software conference in Europe.

Building a strong community

We see it more as a festival than a conference. Our aim is to create a welcoming space to share ideas and knowledge; to build bridges and a strong community — and, of course, to geek out as much as possible with this year’s 1,300 attendees.

We will be exploring the latest trends and innovations surrounding topics like PWA, optimizations, security, visualizations, accessibility, testing, serverless, design and diversity.

We will go beyond React, Angular and Nuxt.js to explore all aspects of this multifaceted ecosystem, including ReasonML, Webpack, Elm, Clojure, RxJS, TypeScript, GraphQL, Brave, Zeit and Gatsby.

CHAT ZONES

Have a few follow-up questions for one or two of our speakers? Then stop by the Chat Zone on the Discovery Stage each afternoon and join a roundtable discussion. There we’ll have four tables dedicated to face-to-face conversations with our guest speakers. Use this opportunity to dive deep into technologies through topic-oriented discussions.

WORKSHOPS

Gain new knowledge from one of the many workshops we’ll have on offer during Festival Day. In 2018, we helped organize 17 workshops. We expect to outdo ourselves this year. Workshops are open to all ReactiveConf attendees for a small fee (~€20) to cover expenses related to logistics and snacks (!!!!)

Need to chill out? Then pop into our cinema on Festival Day, and relax your brain for a bit. We’ll have a wide variety of popular Hollywood flicks on hand for your enjoyment.

WORKSPACE

Need space for your work? We’ll give you space! There will be dedicated areas where you’ll be able to comfortably sit and work on your personal projects.

Join one of the most popular activities at ReactiveConf and strengthen your skillset under the supervision of our experienced lecturers.

COMMUNITY STAGE!!!

Wanna say something?? Sure you do! Hop onto our Community Stage and share your thoughts, ideas and inspiration with other attendees. This is a great way to expand your network.

OUR UNIQUE RATING SYSTEM

You’ll find our speakers on Millennium Stage and Discovery Stage. The talks will cover a wide variety of topics with varying degrees of difficulty. We wanted to find a system that lets attendees know in advance how much of a tech nerd they’ll need to be before deciding on which talks to attend.

We came up with a star (★) system. Sort of like those chili peppers on restaurant menus.

★ — don’t worry; you aren’t gonna overheat

Millennium Stage (Main): ★ — ★✩

Discovery Stage: ★★ — ★★★ — upper-intermediate-level talks and advanced topics
